Tons of Cheap Games @ Amazon (some under $10)

Amazon must be trying to clear out space in its warehouses so it has room for all the copies of LittleBigPlanet that are sure to collect dust this Fall… zing! Anyway, there are far too many to post here, so I’ll simply send you guys to the Outlet and Best Sellers sections to see some of them. Some of the better deals include Sega Rally Revo 360 for $13, COD2 or COD3 360 for $10, Full Auto 360 for $10, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory PS2 for $6, Universe at War 360 for $18, etc.

Turok (360/PS3) + Strat. Guide = $26.xx @ Amazon

Though it seemingly sold better than most people expected (who expected Turok to sell ANY copies?), the dinosaur hunter redux has already fallen below that $29.99 mark - and this time it comes with a free strategy guide! If you’re just looking for the strategy guide, check your local Best Buy, as they got ‘pennied out’ a month or so ago.

Sega Rally Revo for under $19 @ Amazon

Another day, another Sega game on clearance. I hate to see it, since I loves me some Sega, but I can’t complain about getting a terrific racing game for $18 and change. If you’re into rally games, or racing games in general, don’t skip this one.

Sega’s The Club PS3 for $14.xx @ Target

Yet another Target clearance that defies logic. Sure, The Club wasn’t a 10, but this guy’s still $60 at just about every other retailer. Oh, and don’t think for a second the 360 version is that cheap. Nope, that one’s still $60. As I’ve said in the past - I love corporate markdowns! Anyone who knows Target deals knows that this may not be at everyone’s Target just yet, but keep checking back.

Episode #002

In the second episode, Bob and Pete handle the show alone, as Dracula’s mysterious absence from the taping raises some questions. Pete hypes Fallout 3 and touches on Ninja Gaiden 2 again, while Bob’s wrapped up in MGS4 and Hot Shots Golf Open Tee 2. Drac’s still there in spirit, however, when the boys debut his two latest prank calls.

Call of Duty 3 360 for $10 (Amazon DotD)

In my opinion, $10 has become the “sweet spot” for most next-gen (or can we call them current gen now?) games, and lo and behold, Call of Duty 3 for the 360 has hit that magical price point today on Amazon. Sure, Call of Duty 3 isn’t nearly as good as Call of Duty 2 or Call of Duty 4, seeing as how it was developed by Treyarch and not Infinity Ward, but for $10, it’s tough to pass up.

Poll: Will you buy any iPhone games?

Games for the iPhone

With the launch of the App Store for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch next month, among the first available dowloads will be games. We can expect iterations of classic (Pacman), recent (Super Monkeyball), future (Spore) titles, with more in the pipline, apparently at $10 a pop. If the number of comments on other blogs’ stories on the topic are any measure there’s only mild interest, but are you planning on buying any?

Gone (Split)Fishin’ - Dual Analog can Kiss my Ass

FragFX is greater than SIXAXIS

Am I the only one that hates using analog sticks for first person shooters? Who decided it was even a good idea to take something successful (PC FPS games) and bring them to consoles without the crucial element of the control method best suited for them? Why, more than a decade after the first console FPS forced its analog stick down our collective throat, has such a glaring issue not been eradicated?

Read on for the answers to these questions and more.
