@Blenky119 I almost went the hackintosh route. OSX would be nice for what I use the netbook for, and I’d like something I could toy with iPhone development on.
I have a ASUS A150 and a EEEPC900A. I’m pretty sure I’ll need to upgrade the SDD on the EEE to even install Windows 7. I don’t think I’ll try install OSX, as I’m clueless with any operating system that isn’t Windows.

Ahh, those are unsupported netbooks anyway. The EEEPC 901 is, but that isn’t what you’ve got. And OSX on netbooks is a really inexpensive way of getting the good things about OSX without the douche factor of having a macbook. It seems stupid that apple don’t go down the route that Microsoft took, in being an OS manufacturer primarily and letting other companies put their OS on any machine they want. A little less control over the machines running their shit for more profit seems like the most logical buisness step.
So I’m going to a Halloween party tomorrow. You guys party? I dunno about parties, I’m a bad mingler, I like the “stay divided” approach. I dare say people who mingle apposed to just watching others hoping for hijinks are just crazy. I’m hoping for some hijinks.

@ctuck I mingle a bit towards the start of the night, but tend to just stick with a set group of people after about ten minutes, Usually the ones sorting the music/dicking about outside

I’m going as a blind referee, though I really find the blind part way more hilarious then the ref part or the stale joke it makes.
The blind thing is just massively funny, I think its the stick thing.. I think the like blind people glasses the costume came with might actually make me go blind by wearing them tho..

I’m going as that guy. Howard Moon from the UK comedy show the Mighty Boosh. It’s funny, and an easy costume, although why I didn’t think of going as a Blind “insert job here” is beyond me, even simpler costume
