    Peter, do your 2 pull-ups, and like rest for about 15-30 minutes, then do your 2 again, and keep repeating. You’ll eventually be able to do much more. Try doing the wider pull-ups when you’re ready and don’t do chin ups (unless you can’t do real pull-ups yet), do PULL-UPS — those work better for the arm. Or maybe it’s the other way around, I don’t remember.
    I don’t think diets really matters, I eat a lot of fast food and chinese food and I’m totally shredded.
    I can do 15-20 pull-ups, and I don’t work out at all anymore, but I used to do pull-ups occasionally.

    You probably think I’m lying, but I’ll figure out a way to prove it.

    If so, start at the middle and do chin-ups with your hands on the inner grip.
    When you could do about 5 or so full chin-ups (fully flexed going down, and chin past bar going up — don’t do those fake shit ones — you’re just lying to yourself if you do).

    Then use the one in the middle (the one where it protrudes out), and when you could do about 7 or 10 of those, switch to the wides grip, and do a pull-up position. You could also do chin-up positions with the widest grip.

    pullup is palms facing away just wider than shoulder width. chinups are palms facing towards your face with a narrow grip. wider the grip the more it will get your back; narrow grip will get arms and shoulders. aim to balance the two otherwise you’ll look all disproportionate…
