    I’m not sure how much fanart we got or what became of it. We really should post it all. That being said, please send more to tapezilla@tapezilla.net or stb@tapezilla.net.

    You know you want to. In fact, don’t even just send “fanart”, send anything you want to draw. Need an idea? Draw, Photoshop, or otherwise visually represent what you’re going to do to celebrate the 4th of July (sorry, blenky, you limey) and send it in. The one we arbitrarily select as our favorite might eventually receive a prize of questionable value.

    I am not getting BF1943 off the bat. I’m getting the real version (PC) later, and don’t want to double dip, especially since don’t trust these two jokers to play it for 3 hours then decide they’re bored with it because it was freebies. If they’re still playing it in a while, I’ll pick it up.

    Im gunna hold off till EA sort their fucking servers out. While i respect the fact that this sort of game needs servers to play and not the usual peer 2 peer connection of xbox games, they should have still put more than like 2 servers up for launch. If anything games devs should put more servers up for launch then cut back later. /rant

    Huh… been a while since I played a Battlefield game. I used to play Vietnam a lot. Then I bought Battlefield 2 and never even installed it. Funny how I only played the shittiest one.

    I played tons of 1942, Vietnam and 2. Yeah, Vietnam was the worst of the three, but it was still decent. You missed out by not installing BF2. I used to love going prone on a rooftop right above a flag and just dropping grenades on the little shits trying to capture it.

    yeah 1942 was the shit! trying to control those planes was almost impossible though.

    The planes and helicopters in Vietnam were pretty easy to use (‘cept the MiG21). What were they thinking when they designed that plane for the game? The Cobra and F4 (plus it could bomb!) had heatseakers, but the MiG-19 and 21? NOPE. The 19 was alright because it could also bomb and fired 2 streams at once, but the 21′s dummy missiles were useless and the bullets were useless too (1 stream) — you can’t hit shit going that fast! The Hind was okay for taking stuff out on the floor, but if some’s in a Cobra, you might as well just crash into the floor — they have heatseakers and you don’t — am I making a complete fool of myself? — am I just a “n00b”? It was so unbalanced! I ended up kamikazing into things every time I got into a MiG21 because the speed was the only thing it had going for it.

    you guys ever had this happen with your xbox, Like i was playing fuel and suddenly there was a static audio noise and the screen locked up and went snowy. So i turned me box off and turned it back on, removing fuel incase anything happened. I got RROD’d. Turned it off and back on, RROD. So I removed the scart and power cables and reinserted them. The xbox turned back on, got to dash and experienced the same sickening noise and snowy screen. So i turned i off, removed the hard drive, cleaned the connector and the port then reinserted, turned the xbox back on, and it didn’t even make it to dash. So again with the off button, removed everything, cleaned all connectors and insertion points, reconnected just the bare essentials and it turned on fine, and ran to dashboard fine. I’m leaving it time off to cool down before i try play a game, but i wondered if anyone ever experienced the same things, because it doesn’t look like the typical RROD situation, normally the xbox just freezes completely with no sound for that.
