death tanks would be a good game for $5. but even then it needs some additions — the weapons are so basic and there’s nothing creative or imaginative.
for $15, it’s a joke. that’s far worse than charging $50 for L4D. there’s seriously something fucking wrong with their brains.

Death Tank’s a lot of fun multiplayer. I’ll get it if it ever hits that new weekly MS Arcade sale. Speaking of, Braid’s only 800 points this week in case the Ambien’s not working for you.
What is so special about Braid? Is it because the developer is a douche bag that people eat it up as art?
Can i ask what pete disliked about SFIV? Because i’m playing it with a standard 360 controller and am finding the D-pad manageable and the game sublime. Maybe someone keeps getting beat on easy difficulty hmmmmmmm?

first of all, I don’t play any game on below “normal” difficulty under any circumstance, regardless of genre. period.
third fighter in was beating my ass, and I just realized that it isn’t fun. fighters themselves just aren’t a viable type of game to be making in 2009. there ain’t enough to them. where’s the fun? F this.
and we did have some fun with death tanks (me, stevie, jefferson, RJ, and bog1 all played it together this weekend) there’s just not nearly enough there to warrant $15. high rollers like jefferson don’t have to consider that though.
It is true. I played death tanks with the guys, and I did purchase the game before playing.
@pete, i think you’re statement about fighters not being viable to be made in 2009 is bullshine, Fighters are simplistic fun, they aren’t your avergae pick up and play game, which might not be your cup of tea if so then s’your opinion, but i like having a game where you need a modicum of skill and dexterity to play. I mean anyone can spam Quater Circle Forward+ Punch with ken and ryu to start with, but when you pull off one bison’s special combo finisher after practising for like half an hour, theres a satisfaction that i don’t get with other video games. Also, as much as it might be your personal standard to never play on under normal, with street fighter its best to work you’r way up. If you give it a try on easy mode then you should find it more fun and get good enough to play medium, then progress up to playing on hardest.
I’m not only saying that fighters aren’t viable in 2009, I’m also saying that people who like them are big DUMMIES!
