    in truth, RJ’s track got messed up after a certain point and we’re not sure if we can salvage it or not. it was actually like a 2 hour episode — I’m guessing the long recording caused his little apple laptop garbage to mess up.

    Pete, you cannot run Metro 2033 (even on low). Probably can’t run GTA 4, Prototype, Crysis, or Assassin’s Creed 2 on either. Mostly just due to bad optimization, though.

    The thing about StarCraft is that most people stopped giving a shit like 8 years ago. Or at least I did. I used to be really good at StarCraft; y’know, beating Koreans and stuff. In fact, I was like top 15 on the US-West ladder. Of course I didn’t get there legitimately (because nobody did), but I was top 15 damn it.

    thanks, and I think I can run almost fuckin’ anything. there’s no reason to upgrade a pc anymore. graphics are all anchored to console games which will be using the same hardware for 5 more years, save for the occasional crysis, which is a rarity.

    I’m pretty sure you can’t run a whole lot of games if you’re using a dual-core AMD. Not that it’s too weak or anything, but developers are getting really lazy importing the code for PCs; so the brute power of a Quad helps.

    Trying running the Medal of Honor multiplayer demo. I guarantee you’ll be chugging along at 15-20 fps on high (if you’re using a dual-core AMD).
